The struggle is real folks - finding family entertainment that’s both affordable and engaging for our kids! If you’ve found yourself wondering what you can do this summer that won’t break the bank, then consider this option; the Carlisle Truck Nationals. Truck weekend is hosted by Carlisle Events and happens annually at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds (August 2-4) and is home to over 1,500 trucks of all shapes, sizes, styles and eras. There’s lowered trucks, lifted trucks, mini trucks and cool custom vans. But that’s not all.
Every kid loves trucks, but how about this; the Carlisle Truck Nationals showcase fire trucks, big rigs AND monster trucks too. This isn’t playing with toy trucks, this is seeing them IN PERSON. Truck weekend offers multiple monster truck shows each day, there’s a chance to ride in a REAL monster truck that will take you over (and crush) cars, a transforming, fire breathing, car eating monster known as Tranasaurus and even some motorbike and mountain bike stunt show fun. Along with the chance to see and touch some of these cool “real life” toys, there’s games and rides for the kids too. Phantom Entertainment comes to Carlisle with inflatables and activities. The fun includes a mobile zip line, sky fall stunt jump, mechanical bull, moon bounce, rock wall, super slide, monkey motion and more. A nominal fee does apply for the monster truck rides and the Phantom Fun Zone. Certain height, age and weight restrictions may apply.
