When it comes to outdoor fun and adventure, Marietta, boasts some of the best playgrounds and parks that will keep kids entertained for hours. From swings and slides to climbing walls and water features, Marietta's parks and playgrounds keep my kids active, provide great opportunities to meet old friends and make new ones, and best of all, they're FREE!
I thought I'd share my family's top three playgrounds and parks in Marietta with you.

Lancaster Northwest River Trail Park
Decatur St. Marietta, PA
What we love about Lancaster Northwest River Trail Park:
We love packing up the bikes and using the trail at this park. You can walk, jog, bike, scooter and even bring your dog to walk at Lancaster Northwest River Trail Park.
Amenities at Lancaster Northwest River Trial Park:
- Mostly flat paved trail is great for strollers!
- Portable toilets
- Pavilions available
- Plenty of shade
- Parking
Riverfront Park
551 Vinegar Ferry Rd, Marietta, PA 17547
What we love about Riverfront Park:
Quiet, clean and well-maintained. The playground has swings, jungle gym and slides. Sit back and enjoy the scenic view of Riverfront Park while your kiddos play!

- Vending machines
- Picnic tables
- Benches
- Grills
- Connects to the Lancaster Northwest River Trail!
Marietta War Memorial Park
344 E Walnut St, Marietta, PA 17547
What we love about Marietta War Memorial Park:
